Consignment at Belle Patri is an agreement between you and the store to sell an item on your behalf. Belle Patri will market the item as it feels most appropriate which can include:
- stylish placement in the store
- promotion and searchability on the web
- social media promotion
With tens of thousands of local store visitors, website viewers and social media followers your accepted item may get more visibility than perhaps any other venue available.

The stores have different consignment durations. At Jarrettsville items are kept in the store for up to 90 days and at Columbia it is 60 days. We divide the full duration into 1/3 periods and assign a percentage payout for each period. If your items sells...
In Jarrettsville in...
1 - 30 days, you get 60% of the selling price
31 - 60 days, you get 55% of the selling price
61-90 days, you get 50% of the selling price
In Columbia in ...
1 - 20 days, you get 60% of the selling price
21 - 40 days, you get 55% of the selling price
41 - 60 days, you get 50% of the selling price
There is an automatic price drop of 10% in the selling price for the final 1/3 period.

Our consignment varies in each store and often makes up as much as half our inventory in Jarrettsville. As time goes on we encourage our Columbia customers to consider consignment as well as they refresh their home.
Unfortunately, we can't accept everything for consignment. Trends change and we keep a good pulse of what sells and what doesn't. This said, we accept considerably more than we reject. A good place to start with answering the question of "Will you take this?" is to become familiar with the products on the website and get a sense of what we accept.
Of course, sending a picture or bringing small items into the store for consideration is always welcome.
